NO MICAS: 

To produce all of the colors you see on the market, Mica is dyed with either Ultramarines, Iron Oxides or Dyes. Therefore, there are no colored Micas on the market that are 100% natural. 

 

The craze of Mica in our self care products, does not consider the reality of the natural Mica mining industry: the Mica mining industry in these areas are supported by illegal child labor and the working conditions are dangerous and even fatal.

 

NO PALM OIL

There are some serious concerns about palm oil farming in Malaysia - and the impact it is having on both the land and the people. We know several soap makers who have eliminated palm oil from their recipes because of this.
